It has been some time since I actually did any serious writing. There are all sorts of reason why, but none of them real excuses for not writing.
So it is time to 'get back on the pony' and start writing.
About what?
Those of you that know me may be shuddering about now, thinking, "Oh no, what is he going to say now?" Well, the subjects will be wide ranging: sports, food, meat, health, politics, environment, farming, business (especially Colorado business), to name a few.
Look for the pieces on Buy Colorado FB page or the Buy Colorado blog
If you have topics that you would like my opinion on, message or email me at BillFlentje@gmail.com
Till we meet again, may the good Lord take a likin' to ya!

Quote
Do you remember the things you were worrying about a year ago? How did they work out? Didn’t you waste a lot of fruitless energy on account of most of them? Didn’t most of them turn out all right after all?

ATTENTION COLORADO OWNED BUSINESSES
It has been a while since I started this blog. Today I am going to get it going for real. If you would like to be featured on this blog, just let me know and I will feature you at some time in the future.
Cost: 0
The intent is to promote Colorado owned and operated businesses. This blog will occasionally stray from featuring businesses and will address issues we think are appropriate for this forum.
If you just reach one new customer it will be well worth the price.
Who wants to be first on the list?

Today's message is simple.
Learn from the past...it is a good teacher if we will just pay attention.
Live in the 'now', not someday. By living in the now you will enjoy your time on this earth much more and you will worry less about what will happen tomorrow.
Teach you children (regardless of age) the things you have learned from experience. Their future depends on you giving of what you know and have. Don't fritter your life away saying, 'I will do it tomorrow'. No you will not...just do it today.
Pass on to your grandchildren where you came from and what your life was like when you were their age. They may not act like they care or are listening, but trust me they are. Keep your traditions moving forward. It makes a family important.
May the good Lord take a liking to ya!

There are those beef eaters that insist on eating 'only' grass fed and finished beef. Why? Because it supposedly has more omega 3 than other beef. These are the same people that insist on their beef being as lean as they can get it.
I learned something from Dr Chris Raines, meat scientist, (deceased) that has stuck with me. He, and I, pose this: If you insist on your beef being lean, how can it have increased omega3 when omega3 is a fat? Something is missing here. I have yet to have anyone give me documented evidence as to how this is possible. It seems to me from a logical standpoint that it is not possible. Just sayin'.
